Come along to fantastic and dramatic Snæfellsnes in Iceland!
With 10 years experience leading painting courses in the Nordic Countries, it is a great pleasure to welcome you to our Watercolour Painting Course, taking place in Grundarfjör∂ur, Snæfellsnes in Iceland. Great nature, Snæfellsnes on the Icelandic Westcoast is known as “Miniature-Iceland”.
Accomodation at Stö∂ Guesthouse in Grundarfjör∂ur – Course in ”Sögumi∂stö∂in” (history center) 5 min. walk from accomodation. Great view to the fiord, the harbour and the famous Kirkjufell. Waterfalls Kirkjufellsfoss and Grundarfoss nearby Grundarfjör∂ur.
6 course days 09:00 – 17:00 with inspiring demo paintings, individual guidance and inspiration for watercolor painting in studio and outdoors sketching (weather dependend). Joint daily reviews.
PRICE DKK 18000,- INCLUDES:
- Teaching 6 Course Days Tuesday Aug. 8th – Sunday Aug. 13th 2023, all days 09:00 – 17:00
- Full day guided bustrip around Snæfellsnes on Thursday, August 10th by Snæfellsnes Excursions
- Joint bustransfer from Keflavik Airport to Grundarfjör∂ur Monday Aug. 7th in the afternoon, also pick up at the BSI busstation in Reykjavik – and return on Monday Aug. 14th 2023 from Grundarfjör∂ur in the morning by Snæfellsnes Excursions
- 7 nights accomodation at Stö∂ Guesthouse in shared room or family room with bathroom
- Including breakfast, lunch, coffee / tea all days and shared self-service table on arrival date.
Appendix DKK 2000 single room with bathroom
Attendant, who is not attending the course: DKK – 12000,- in joint double room, including breakfast/lunch, joint bus transfer and full day bus trip.
Dinner can be prepared by the participants in the Guesthouse kitchen – in catering teams alternately by appointment. There is good shopping oppertunitys in supermarkets in Grundarfjör∂ur, and several restaurants in also offers lunch and dinner.

Deposit / balance will be refunded if the course is canceled e.g. due to Covid-19 or illness (medical certificate required)
